Customer Reviews
Mixed feelings on Sonoma
We booked a Journey Tent at the Sonoma Retreat. The tent was spacious and had good views. The Farm-to-Table Dinner was tasty, if a bit pricey. I found the booking site a little clunky when trying to add activities after the initial reservation. Had to call customer service for help, and they were responsive. Overall, it was a relaxing stay, but felt like some of the 'luxury' aspects were more in the pricing than the actual service delivery at times. Still, a decent getaway.
Consistent Vail experience
I stayed at the Vail Retreat again, this time in an Outlook Shelter. Had stayed there before in a Summit Tent. They're very consistent. Check-in was smooth, just like last time. The shelter was clean and everything was ready. Enjoyed another Guided Hike. They always deliver on the experience.
Good Governors Island stay
I booked a Summit Tent at the Governors Island Retreat for a weekend trip last month. The booking process on the site was pretty straightforward. I received a confirmation email quickly. Getting there involved a ferry, which was part of the fun. The tent itself was well-appointed, had a proper bed, and a private bathroom which was a nice surprise for 'glamping.' The in-tent breakfast was convenient, arriving right on time each morning. I also tried a Yoga Session; the instructor was good. The main issue was finding staff after dark; it felt a bit isolated at times. Overall, a unique experience.

Thinking of booking a trip to one of these spots, maybe Vail. Do they ever have sales or discounts? Trying to save a few bucks if possible.
Hey, anyone know if the tents have real bathrooms, like with a toilet and shower? Or is it more like shared facilities like regular camping?
